to the 1st ELI Workshop on Ultrafast Spectroscopy
The purpose of the ELI Beamlines facility is not only to provide experimental beam time, but also to become a place where scientists can meet and share their ideas. Our target is to fit the needs of the experimental community in as exhausting a way as possible.
A broad range of experiments is already available for users, who can submit their application into the user call (femtosecond Raman, ellipsometry, transient absorption and others), but there is ongoing development in implementing new techniques and upgrades to the current set ups (femtosecond mid-IR, coherent control, multidimensional spectroscopies, tunable TCSPC). The workshop should serve to bring new ideas about the needs of the user community.
In this phase, we would like to invite in particular those who already work with ultrafast pulses and can share their experience. Since it is a “kick-off meeting”, we can start broadly and consider it a general meeting of people with femtosecond experimental or theoretical background. Curious students are of course welcome as well.
The workshop takes place from 16th to 18th September 2019
All scientists interested in the ELI Beamlines facility and femtosecond spectroscopy are sincerely welcome.
